This is extremely unusual. The item has all the markings of the solder-type connection yet it's shipped with the crimp style pins as shown in the attached images. Which is why I returned the first one. I confirmed this after cross referencing with the manufacturer spec sheet. Fortunately I was able to procure the crimping tool so that I could install it. I do not fault the seller for any of this. This is clearly a manufacturer level issue. Shipping was promt and item arrived in mint condition.
